The RiverFront is a 72-acre system of three downtown parks in Omaha, rebuilt in 2022–23 and run by the Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA). Gene Leahy Mall (8th to 13th streets between Douglas and Farnam) reopened on July 1, 2022, with a performance pavilion, sculpture garden, playground, dog park and slides. Heartland of America Park (east of 8th St. at Farnam) and Lewis & Clark Landing opened on August 18, 2023, with a lake and fountain, an amphitheater, the Skate Ribbon (ice in winter, roller skating in summer), an urban beach and the Kiewit Luminarium.
