Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church stands in Bow Valley, north of Hartington. The first church was dedicated in 1875; the present Late Gothic Revival church was built in 1903–04 to the design of Josef Schwartz. The complex includes a 1926 rectory, a school, the cemetery and the 1952 Grotto of Our Lady of Fatima, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 5, 2000.
