The Winnetoon Jail was built in 1907 by the P. C. Paulson Building Co. for $37. The small wooden lockup stands at 1st Street and Sherman Avenue, now part of a park at the northwest edge of Winnetoon. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 27, 1995.
