Harold's Koffee House at 8327 N. 30th St. in Florence is run by the family of Harold Halstead, an Army Air Corps veteran who began at Harkert's Hamburgers in 1946, ran the Florence restaurant from 1958 and moved it to its current location in 1968 under his own name. His daughter Nancy Bohnenkamp runs it today, and it celebrated 60 years in 2018. It is known for cinnamon rolls, donuts, biscuits and gravy and homemade pie.
