La Casa West at 8216 Grover St is the second La Casa Pizzaria, opened by founder Joe Patane in 1965. Anthony Vacanti Sr took it over in 1979, and the Vacanti family now runs it along with La Casa Pacific Springs at 610 S 168th St, opened in 2019. It serves La Casa's Omaha-style pizza: a thin, biscuit-like crust made without yeast, topped with Romano cheese and finely ground hamburger. Call 402-391-6300.
