The Hall County Historical Society works to research, teach and preserve the history of Hall County. It is based in the historic Burlington Station, formerly the Plum Street Station, at 603 N. Plum St. in Grand Island, where it holds public history programs, including its Bygone Book Club on local history.
The society is run by volunteers and has no regular open hours, but it will open for tours and events with advance notice; it also arranges private tours of the Stolley House and rents rooms at the station. Call (308) 385-1545.
