Methodist Cove Campground is a US Army Corps of Engineers campground on the west side of Harlan County Lake. From US 183 in Alma, go east on South Street for 2.5 miles, and the entrance is on the south side.
It has 133 electric and non-electric campsites, a reservable group shelter, a heated shower house, a dump station, a playground, a boat ramp and a fish cleaning station. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov, and an attendant is on duty in the peak season from May through September.
