Soldier Creek Campground is a year-round U.S. Forest Service campground in the Pine Ridge. From Crawford, take U.S. 20 west 2.5 miles to Fort Robinson, then Soldier Creek Road north 6 miles.
It has 8 sites plus areas for horse trailers and RVs, a hand-pump well, vault toilets and a 15-paddock corral. Sites are $15 a night. Call the Pine Ridge Ranger District at 308-432-0300.
