Calvary Cemetery has been Lincoln's Catholic burial ground since 1869, when Michael Shea was the first person buried there, near 40th and O Streets. It was deeded to the Calvary Cemetery Association in 1930 and is overseen by the Diocese of Lincoln's director of cemeteries. The grounds include the Saint Charbel Chapel, the Infant of Prague section for infants, a section for priests and religious sisters, and a columbarium added in 2019. Open daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
