Maple Creek Christian Cemetery — Fremont

Maple Creek Christian Cemetery stands where the gravel roads 17 and O cross, north-west of Fremont in Dodge County. It was begun in the early 1880s beside the Maple Creek Christian Church, which no longer stands. Nine graves are recorded.

The ground had been badly neglected. Volunteers cleared it and gathered the headstones they could find into one place, so the stones no longer stand where the graves are. More burials are believed to be there, since some stones were too far gone to read.
