Description

Tracy Valley Cemetery lies about three miles north-east of Humphrey, in Platte County, Nebraska.

Forty-eight burials are recorded here, though the ground holds about twenty-four graves with fifteen stones still standing. Five large evergreens stand over it as sentinels. A church was built here around 1875, abandoned about 1914, and razed some time after 1938.

Two war veterans lie here: Daniel Brooks, who fought in the Civil War, and Henry Van Blaricom, of Company E, mounted cavalry, in the Mexican War.

For burial records, plot enquiries or permission to visit, contact the Platte County Clerk in Columbus.
