Shady Rest Cemetery — Cherry County

Shady Rest Cemetery lies at the west end of Beaver Lake, in the south-west quarter of the north-east quarter of Section 26, Township 29, Range 29, in the lake country well south of Valentine. Some indexes attach it to Valentine, but it is a long way out from the town. It is listed under Kennedy, the nearest village, about nine miles to the north-west.

Only three memorials have been indexed, which is a record of what has been photographed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
