Saint Joseph Cemetery lies north-east of Valentine near Kewanee. The way to it is recorded locally as thirteen miles out on Highway 12 to the Kewanee School House, then north two miles.
It is also known as Nollette Cemetery and appears under that name in some records — one ground, two names. It should not be confused with Kewanee Cemetery, also called Pleasant Prairie, which is a separate burial ground about two and a half miles to the south.
Around 27 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
