Antioch Cemetery — Lakeside

Antioch Cemetery lies near Antioch, on Highway 2 east of Alliance in the south of the county. Antioch was a boom town in the First World War, when the alkali lakes here were worked for potash and ten plants operated at once. The plants closed when the war ended and cheaper supplies returned; concrete ruins are what stands there now.
