Roost Cemetery — Dakota City

Roost Cemetery is a small burial ground west of Dakota City. The county's records list it as abandoned, and only one burial has ever been indexed. Expect an unmaintained and possibly unmarked ground rather than a kept cemetery.

One memorial has been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the Dakota County Clerk in Dakota City. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
