Long Valley Cemetery sits in the yard of the old Long Valley Methodist Episcopal sod church in the north of Loup County. There are no roads near it, and the county's own account says it can be reached only with a guide and a four-wheel-drive pickup. Anyone hoping to visit should arrange it locally first rather than setting out on their own.
Around nine memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there. The county's record gives seven interments.
For burial records or plot enquiries, contact the Loup County Historical Society in Taylor, or the Loup County Clerk in Taylor. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
