Dunning Cemetery lies half a mile southeast of Dunning on the east side of Highway 2, in the ground between the railroad track and the Dismal River.
Dunning itself straddles the Blaine and Custer county line; the cemetery is on the Blaine side.
Around 379 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
For burial records or plot enquiries, contact the Village of Dunning, or the Blaine County Clerk in Brewster. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
