Lone Star Cemetery — McPherson County

Lone Star Cemetery lies in the north-east of McPherson County, out in the Sandhills toward the Logan County line. It is listed under Tryon, the county seat and the only village in the county, about sixteen miles to the south-west.

It takes its name from the Lone Star school, which stood about a mile away. The four acres were deeded by John Cloud for the purpose.

Around 45 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
