The Brueckner-Polster Gravesite lies in Clover Valley Precinct, Pierce County, recorded at Section 32 of Township 26 North, Range 3 West. It is a family gravesite rather than a cemetery in the usual sense — the kind of small plot that was laid out on a home place before the townships had public burial grounds.
The pin on this listing is a computed estimate, not a surveyed position. It is worked out from the legal land description above, by fitting the public land survey grid to fifteen cemeteries in these counties whose position is already known. That method lands within about half a mile on average. It has not been checked on the ground yet, so treat the pin as the right neighborhood rather than the exact spot. For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the Pierce County Clerk in Pierce. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
