Husker Meats

Husker Meats is a meat locker and custom processing plant at 740 Old Highway 7 in Ainsworth, in Brown County. It does custom cutting and wrapping, slaughters livestock on site, and takes in wild game and deer. The plant is USDA inspected. Custom processing means the plant cuts, wraps and freezes an animal for the person who owns it, so a family buying a half or whole beef or hog direct from a farmer has somewhere to have it turned into freezer meat.
