University of Nebraska Omaha and Medical Center Emergency Management

Campus emergency management for the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, based on the medical center campus at 42nd and Emile St in Omaha. Emergency management plans for and coordinates the response to floods, tornadoes, blizzards, hazardous material spills and other emergencies, works with fire, law enforcement and rescue services, issues warnings, and handles damage assessment and recovery afterwards. It works alongside the county emergency management office rather than replacing it.
