Emergency management for the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, based at the tribal offices at 497 Main St in Macy, serving the Omaha Reservation in Thurston and Cuming counties. Mail can be sent to PO Box 368, Macy NE 68039. Emergency management plans for and coordinates the response to floods, tornadoes, blizzards, hazardous material spills and other emergencies, works with fire, law enforcement and rescue services, issues warnings, and handles damage assessment and recovery afterwards. It works alongside the county emergency management office rather than replacing it.
