Madison County Emergency Management

Madison County is served by the emergency management office at 701 Koenigstein Ave in Norfolk, which also covers Antelope and Pierce counties. County emergency management plans for and coordinates the response to floods, tornadoes, blizzards, wildfires, hazardous material spills and other emergencies. The office runs the local emergency operations center, issues public warnings, works with fire departments, law enforcement and rescue squads, keeps the county emergency operations plan current, and handles damage assessment and disaster assistance after an event.
