Valley County Extension

Valley County Extension is the Extension office serving Valley County, working out of 801 "S" Street Suite 1 - Fairgrounds in Ord. Nebraska Extension is the University of Nebraska reaching past the campus into every county: 4-H for young people, crop and livestock advice for producers, pesticide and chemigation training, soil and forage testing, food safety and food preservation, master gardener help for the home yard, and the workshops and field days that put research in front of the people it is meant for. Most of what it offers is free or close to it.
