Garfield-Loup-Wheeler County Extension

Garfield-Loup-Wheeler County Extension is the Nebraska Extension office for Garfield County, Loup County and Wheeler County, working out of 807 H Street PO Box 638 in Burwell. Nebraska Extension is the University of Nebraska reaching past the campus into every county: 4-H for young people, crop and livestock advice for producers, pesticide and chemigation training, soil and forage testing, food safety and food preservation, master gardener help for the home yard, and the workshops and field days that put research in front of the people it is meant for. Most of what it offers is free or close to it.
