Valentine Community Schools

Valentine Community Schools is the school district for Valentine and the country around it, in Cherry County. The district office is at 431 N Green St. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 17 at Ainsworth, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
