McCook Public Schools

McCook Public Schools is the public school district serving McCook and the country around it, in Red Willow County. The district office is at 700 W 7th. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 15 at Trenton, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
