Hitchcock County School System

Hitchcock County School System serves Hitchcock County, its towns and the country between them. The district office is at 312 West 3rd. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 15 at Trenton, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
