Nebraska City Municipal Gas

Natural gas in Nebraska City is supplied by the town itself rather than by a gas company. Connections, billing and gas emergencies are handled through the town office at 1409 Central Ave. Only sixteen Nebraska towns run their own gas system; everywhere else that has piped gas is served by Black Hills Energy or NorthWestern Energy, and much of rural Nebraska has no piped gas at all and uses propane.
