Wheat Belt Public Power District

Wheat Belt Public Power District is one of Nebraska’s rural public power districts, run from 11306 Rd 32 in Sidney in Cheyenne County. It supplies farms, acreages and small communities outside the town-owned systems. Nebraska is the only state where every electricity customer is served by a publicly owned utility, so there are no investor-owned power companies here.
