Northeast Power

Northeast Power is one of Nebraska’s rural public power districts, run from 1410 W 7th St in Wayne in Wayne County. It supplies farms, acreages and small communities outside the town-owned systems. Nebraska is the only state where every electricity customer is served by a publicly owned utility, so there are no investor-owned power companies here. The district answers to a board elected by its own customers rather than to shareholders. Billing and outage calls go to 402-375-1360.
