Description

The City of Alliance Central Park Fountain was built in 1935 by Civilian Conservation Corps workers, completed in time for the June 1935 "Stampede Days" celebration. Manufactured by General Electric, it was known for its colored lights and timers when new. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 as a locally significant example of an electrically powered, colored-light fountain from the 1930s.

Located at 10th Street and Niobrara Avenue in Alliance.
