The Wheeler County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Bartlett Volunteer Fire Dept., 425 Randolph St., Bartlett. It is open on selected Thursdays only, 9:15 - 12:00, 1:00 - 3:00 - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 2:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Wheeler County Treasurer at 3rd & Main, PO Box 127, telephone 308-654-3236 - not at this office.
