The Valley County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 125 S 15th, Ord. It is open every Wednesday, 8:45 - 12:30, 1:00 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:00 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Valley County Treasurer at 125 South 15 th Street, telephone 308-728-5606 - not at this office.
