The Sherman County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 630 "O" St, Loup City. It is open every Tuesday, 10:15 - 12:30, 1:00 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:00 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Sherman County Treasurer at 630 O Street, PO Box 542 - not at this office.
