The Sheridan County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 301 East 2nd, Rushville. It is open every Wednesday, 8:45 - 12:00, 12:45 - 4:00 (Mountain Time). Drive tests are not given between 11:45 AM and 12:45 PM, or after 3:45 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Sheridan County Treasurer at 301 East 2 nd Street, PO Box 570, telephone 308-327-5651 - not at this office.
