The Red Willow County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 502 Norris Ave, McCook. It is open every Monday and Tuesday, 8:15 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Red Willow County Treasurer at 502 Norris Avenue, PO Box 490, telephone 308-345-6515 - not at this office.
