Phelps County Driver License Office

The Phelps County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Ag. Center, 1308 2nd St, East Rm, Holdrege. It is open every Thursday and Friday, 9:00 - 4:30. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:45 PM. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Phelps County Treasurer at 715 5 th Avenue, PO Box 438, telephone 308-995-6115 - not at this office.
