Lancaster County Driver License Office

The Lancaster County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at 4700 Cattle Drive, Lincoln. It is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given after 3:20 PM. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Lancaster County Treasurer at 625 North 46th Street, telephone 402-441-7497 - not at this office.
