Knox County Driver License Office

The Knox County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 206 Main St, Center. It is open every Friday, 9:00 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Knox County Treasurer at Courthouse Square, 206 Main Street, PO Box 127, telephone 402-288-5615 - not at this office.
