Johnson County Driver License Office

The Johnson County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 351 Broadway, Tecumseh. It is open on selected Fridays only, 8:30 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00 - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Johnson County Treasurer at 351 Broadway Street, PO Box 476, telephone 402-335-6310 - not at this office.
