Holt County Driver License Office

The Holt County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at 410 E. Benton St., O'Neill. It is open every Monday and Tuesday, 9:15 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Holt County Treasurer at 204 North 4th Street, PO Box 648, telephone 402-336-1291 - not at this office.
