Hamilton County Driver License Office

The Hamilton County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at 310 A St., Aurora. It is open every Tuesday, 9:45 - 4:30. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 4:00 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Hamilton County Treasurer at 1111 13 th Street, Suite 2, telephone 402-694-2291 - not at this office.
