Hall County Driver License Office

The Hall County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at 3529 S Locust St., Grand Island. It is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 4:00. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Hall County Treasurer at 200 S Sycamore St, telephone 308-385-5030 - not at this office.
