Grant County Driver License Office

The Grant County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 105 E Harrison St, Hyannis. It is open on selected Mondays only, 9:30 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00 (Mountain Time) - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Grant County Treasurer at 105 East Harrison Street, PO Box 312, telephone 308-458-2422 - not at this office.
