Franklin County Driver License Office

The Franklin County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 405 15th Ave, Franklin. It is open on selected Tuesdays only, 8:45 - 4:00 - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:15 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Franklin County Treasurer at 405 15 th Avenue, PO Box 165, telephone 308-425-6265 - not at this office.
