Cheyenne County Driver License Office

The Cheyenne County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 1000 10th St, Sidney. It is open every Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:30 (Mountain Time). Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Cheyenne County Treasurer at 1000 10 th Avenue, PO Box 217, telephone 308-254-2733 - not at this office.
