Cass County Driver License Office

The Cass County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at The Morehead Building, 201 Main St, Plattsmouth. It is open every Thursday and Friday, 9:00 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given ​No drive tests will be administered from 11:40 AM to 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Cass County Treasurer at 446 Main, Room 204, telephone 402-296-9324 - not at this office.
