The Corner Pub

A pub on North Main Street in Valentine, in the middle of the Heart City rather than out on the highway. Valentine is the Cherry County seat and the jumping-off point for the Niobrara — tanking and canoeing the river, Smith Falls State Park with the tallest waterfall in Nebraska, Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge, and Merritt Reservoir with its dark skies and the Nebraska Star Party each summer. This is the town-center room rather than a tourist one.
