Peppermill Restaurant & EKV Lounge

A restaurant and lounge that stood on Highway 20 in Valentine for close to forty years. The Joseph family opened it in 1986 and ran it through three generations, building it on Nebraska and South Dakota prime grade beef out of their own ranching background — the bacon-wrapped filet was the dish people came for — alongside fish, chicken, seafood and a full bar. It closed permanently in February 2025 and the property has been sold for a new concept in the same building. This listing is kept for the record; the Peppermill is closed.
